Calculator Assumptions

SIP projections use monthly compounding with beginning-of-month contributions, while SWP uses end-of-month withdrawals. FIRE uses inflation-adjusted expenses and an assumed withdrawal rate. EMI uses the monthly reducing-balance formula. FD uses quarterly compounding. PPF assumes yearly deposits before 5 April and one constant rate. NPS pension and rent-vs-buy results depend on adjustable assumptions and exclude provider-specific charges, taxes, and rules unless explicitly stated.
